Playing arround with illustrator, max and some photoshop. Okay so it's not exactly ultra high quality, but maybe it could be usefull to blend in some header images or something.

Nice to see you around wanderer... Need more colour, a bit too monotonous...Maybe more teal or something purple to spice it up ?

Purdy logo...maybe we could use it in some kind of high-tech theme :P

Haha, it's good to be back :P
cruise: you might not have noticed, but this is actually inspired by the header image of the ASCII layout, it has the letters TSFE in ASCII-art, and i kind of looks like this. But because i worked in illustrator mostly just on sight, the whole thing turned out a bit more spaced out then the ASCII one. But a high tech style would allways be cool :P
I don't think it needs more colour at all, cause if i'll even use it in further images, it will be smaller and more in theme with what i'm using it with ;)

Look at the colors!
Anyhow, yeah, I dig this image. And I second the motion for a new theme- NARAIN! Yo beez UP, man! U||l34$h y0uR m4D $k][77z uP0|| u$!!!!
Well, I think a sleek-blue type theme would be really cool... To bad you can't do magic with HTML like you can with ANSI stuff... So we'd be stuck with straight lines. Hmm.
Anyhow, all ravisms aside, I would like to see that theme, as well as more Wanderer TSFE logos. Do one for our Hardbound one, man.

Cool logo, Wanderer, although I think it might have been rendered a bit more "natural". If you understand what I mean..?
Oh, and Semirrahge. You'd be surprised to find out what you can do with HTML, especially if you add a flavour of PHP and imagination into it. ;-)

logo for Hardbound? my, i hadn't thought anyone even noticed that theme. =) but... isn't the header like what is usually found in books? ...or do you find the whole theme too boring? maybe i make themes too understated or something.
btw, semi, 7 represents T, so you might have to wait, 'cause i can't find my mad skittz anywhere. =p
besides, if i get caught up in doing another css theme, i might never get my actual submission finished. ...that seems quite likely anyway, but i digress.
hk: you probably can do cool stuff with html, i don't doubt that. but the trouble is, the html is fixed. all formatting and cool graphical layout stuff is done in the css. and we can't do funkier, non-rectilinear stuff in css without changing the scripts that output the html, and that goes against the whole idea of having the same html and getting a new look by changing the stylesheet.
of course, if you have ideas about funky magic purely in css, i'd love to hear 'em.

HellKeepa: thanks, but i have no idea what you mean (i'm not that experienced in 3d anyway).
Semi: i'm working on it :P

Not necessarily -- you could do the "illusion" thing -- have the CSS specify image backgrounds for everything that make it look non-rectilinear.

Remember? This is a image-less site. Yes, I am not in design, but frankly I think its cool that we are pushing raw HTML features so far. Ok. Maybe not "pushing", but... :) It is cool that we have such a groovy site and only one major image. :)
(July 4th, 2002, 5:07 am)
thanks for reminding me of that, ben. ooh, i want to try it out now.
relax, semi, now we can keep the images into just one stylesheet, all the others will stay image-less... besides, you can count on me to push css as far as i can even in that theme and only include images when absolutely necessary.
oh btw, i thought we would be using the triswoosh thingy as our logo? or we could have different logos with different themes. hey, that could work.
