Kind of sucks, really...any suggestions on a better format and layout for it?
Perhaps seperate DIV's for each member? Anyway, whatever...I suck at that sort of thing :P

I'll pop it onto my stack of things to think about. Expect an overhaul in about two days =)

I think you should include the avatars and put some more spacing between the bio's. also the bio could be bulleted, sort of, something like:

It's not brilliant, but I suppose it's an improvement =) The users are separated by their h1s, like the forum posts layout.

Included the quote as well, since that was a highly requested feature.
It is definately better, if a little longer.

looks much better, definitely! i still think the avatars would add a bit of colour. :)

We (or at least, _I_ have) fought Eldritch about this already... I don't even HAVE an avatar, even over on DA.
I've never found one that I like, or taken the time to make one. And, I guess it's not a big deal, really - so long as the avatar stays in the about page.
And, speaking of color... I use the ANSI scheme, so I get quite a bit more color than those that use the standard TSFE scheme. Anyhow. I just wanted to make it clear (Again) that I do not want avatars in the fora. :)
Oh, yeah. And we should have links to the side of the user's names:
Siedhr - email - ouevre - about
Instead of the current click-the-name-and-dig-through-a-maze-of-links method. What if I want to pop off an email to Narain? I just have to hit the "email" and there you are.

I guess those links will go after "More info" (Capitalise it, too, if you're not going to put a word before it.)
I.e. "More info / Email / Oeuvre". All at the end of the section, if they're all together.
One last thing, there's too much space between the quote and the info. I hate the double-br method of spacing... Just put the content in appropriate block-level elements and let the CSS handle the margins.
Btw, who made the Windows scheme? It's a fun idea :D though kinda hard on the eyes with all the contrast.

I tried without the double spacing...it looked too closed up...I'll add margins to the quote/blockquote tags and see if that's better.
I think Semirrahge was suggesting they go in the heading with the name...I think I prefer your idea though.
I've been trying to keep emails off the pages, to keep spam to a minimum...I have been planning to add an internal noting system like dA's (some of it is already started, in fact), which might be preferable...

Ok. The Windows Scheme was done by GyrFalcon, who is mostly a member so he can read my stuff. :P I think that one reads your windows colors and uses them, so the page matches your windows scheme.
I personally still like the ANSI scheme, though I think some other colors might be nice. I need to take a poll, see what schemes you guys all use.
Yeah. A noting system would be nice. It would be cool, too if we had some kind of chat room/IM system. One-up DA. :) And, the thing that I dislike about DA's notes is the fact that I can recieve them in my email, but I can't reply to them from there. It's like 1/2 webmail 1/2 POP3. I'd just as soon NOT get them by email at all. It makes for to many steps. Either set it up where I can reply by email, or don't give us email notification. :P

Uh... I just can't find the link to it at the front page. Oh wait, the latest monthly IRC stats are for April last year. Seems they removed the IRC. But they still have the shoutbox.
Besides, given the number of members at TsfE right now, and the erratic timings when we're online, I doubt any chatroom we have will have more than one person at any given time. =p
Okay, enough about that. Let's see... Schemes. I'd been using the standard blue for a while, until I happened upon Windows. I'm stuck on that now. :D Yeah, I tried out different Windows colour schemes... it does match! Sheesh, why do you need that in CSS? =)
Noting is good. If I had that, I could explain all the silly geodesic geometry I was thinking of instead of cluttering the forum with it. Oh well. Anyway, keep the emails off the pages then, but hurry up with the notes! ;)
I didn't want links in the h1s because it wouldn't look good. If we don't have the email link, then no changes are required: 'more info' and 'oeuvre' links are there already.
