Submission editing behaviour

Narainsbrain (January 7th, 2003, 1:54 pm)

I find the current system a little cumbersome... More than a little, actually, since I'm one of those guys who can't post something big without finding some fault in it, and then can't rest without editing it once, and then again, before being either completely satisfied or completely sick of it...

So here's what I suggest: The Author controls - Edit, Archive, Delete, Publish - should (also) appear on the page of the article itself. And after posting a new submission or editing an existing one, I'd like to be redirected to see the actual article, so I can see the how the result looks, and can edit it again (directly from the link that will be on that page) if I feel like being finicky.

Does that sound good?

Edit II: Removed those stupid aftercomments. I was seriously sleep-deprived that time. =)

OK

I'll add it to my stack of things to do :P

OK

And in the things-to-do list it'll probably stay a while :P Like most of the other stuff.
