I regret to inform you that all my hard drive has been erased. One of the regulators in my motherboard went pop, and in the process of repairs, they erased my hard drive, destroying all the data. I have lost my stories-in-progress, programs, images, all I've worked for, SWOOSH!, gone forever. I just felt I needed to tell you... I won't let that get me down though, I have plenty of kicks left :P. I have plenty of work to do still, as I have started the reconstruction work today. If you find any way you can help me, please do so...

well that sucks... what kind of help are you looking for?

cruise (May 12th, 2003, 12:54 pm)

Well, looks like you're screwed then...

Um...well, naturally, we'll do what we can...but as Wanderer says...what do you need? And it could probably be'd just cost too much :/

Eldritch (May 13th, 2003, 12:38 am)

I'm talking about some help recompiling my written works...

Wanderer (May 15th, 2003, 8:37 am)

Since i'm not telepathicly gifted, i can't offer any help there.

Um, yeah...what he said...

cruise (May 15th, 2003, 1:12 pm)

Check dA, check here...but I don't have anything of yours anywhere else, I'm afraid.

Um, yeah...what he said...

BlacklightResponsive (May 16th, 2003, 5:58 am)

That sucks, you should invest in an external hard drive or find someone that has one, so you can put you stuff on there before you EVER LET ANYONE FUCK WITH YOUR HARD DRIVES. If someone is fixing your computer, they are fucking with it. Whoever they is, they will fuck your shit up. I know this is a little too late to help you now, I just thought I'd vent about people that claim to repair hardware.

Wanderer (May 16th, 2003, 9:02 am)

I agree, which i do after having learnt that the hard way.

cruise (May 16th, 2003, 11:57 am)

Experience n. and v.i.

Something you get just after you need it.

Then I guess I have learnt...

Eldritch (May 16th, 2003, 9:38 pm)

I'll invest in one soon... Thanks for the idea. Dumb bastards...
