Turorials is actually a section where you write "tips" for other writers. How to create good characters, how to describe a scene correctly, etc...So, if you write one, send it to Cruise, or if you're a member by then, just post it in the members area.

hm..kewl..I have an idea for a tutorial describing how to write character descriptions. IE "Characters are more than just general descriptions, though beautiful descriptions can be helpful, they are thoughts, feelings, mannerisms, and designs." lbah blah..

Then do it Angelas! Make it your first work for TSFE.

What exactly falls under the tutorial description? I am thinking of writing a thing on the reasons writers write. Would that be a tutorial, or an editorial? Would this even be useful?
Maybe there's SOMETHING I know that others don't that they should. Wow, what a sentance. :)

That'd be an editorial (what happened to your last one, btw?)
Tutorials are things for improving other's writing...so Angelas' idea would be great...

Oh, now I realise that you said "editorial" and not "tutorial". :)
I pulled it into my Oeuvre, I thought that it had been cluttering up the submissions area too long. Maybe I'll retouch it and put it back out.

i liked that editorial of yours. you could retouch it a little, add some literary style (it did have touches of forum-post-ish-ness). it'd be good to have one editorial in the issue. and what happened to ben's counter-editorial idea?

Indeed, what happened? Thanks for reminding me. =)
In any case, Semirrahge, something can stay in the submissions area as long as necessary if it's unique to the site, if I'm not mistaken.

Of course...that's kind of the point.
C'mon...we need an editorial for the issue :P
